A prototype of the handset, which was developed by fujitsu ltd, was exhibited in october last year at CEATEC Japan 2008. The new Fujitsu Keitai F-04B modular cellphone manages to hide a 854 x 480 pico-projector that has a 6 lumens brightness and allows you to project movies, pictures or even games. This handset can split into 2 segments, a display unit and keyboard unit, connected via Bluetooth – a sliding QWERTY keyboard on front and a hidden 3.4-inch LCD touchscreen display unit below, each featuring a dedicated Li-ion battery.
“We have been working together with Fujitsu to commercialize the handset since 2008,” said NTT Docomo.
