Cassette Wallet

This Cassette Wallet, a project of Italian designer Marcella Foschi, it makes me think of my childhood… Cassette Wallets are wallets made out of original music cassettes from all over the world. It is a very time-consuming and laborious process, done totally by hand. It is sort of like hiding money in a strange place. People love them and they make them feel nostalgic; everyone has old cassettes in their basement and even though they will never use them again, they cannot bear to part with them. So people are really surprised and pleased by my solution and everyone who used to listen to cassettes prefers to donate them to me rather than feeling bad about dumping them in the garbage.
